If you’re thinking of taking up golf for the first time, haven’t played for a while and want to get back into the swing, or are looking to improve your game, Stowmarket Golf Centre is probably the most friendly place around to do it!

Nestled in the beautiful Suffolk countryside on the outskirts of Stowmarket, we first opened the centre in 2008. Our mission is simple — to get more people enjoying the wonders of golf, without the usual stuffiness associated with so many traditional golf clubs. Our philosophy is that while golf should be personally challenging, it should be a lot of fun, a chance to meet new friends and to enjoy the great outdoors.  

Here at the Stowmarket Golf Centre our gently undulating 9-hole course suits

everyone from beginners to more experienced golfers. With a par of 29, it’s short enough for new golfers to enjoy but also provides a stern test for established players, with seven challenging par 3s and two short par 4s. And our 10-bay covered driving range provides the perfect place to practice or warm up, not forgetting the chipping area and putting green.
